The art works presented in this gallery represent the 2010 first quarter travels I have made throughout the various islands, towns, and cities in the Visayas region of the Philippines. The travels are in connection with a research undertaking from a grant coming from our country's National Commission for Culture and Arts. Although the artworks are not the intended output of this research, the works are appropriations of the raw and wonderful places I have been to.
